Merry Christmas

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!! I am at work currently, but will be getting off soon in order to go spend some time with my family. I am really looking forward to it!

Here is the picture I shared on Facebook wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. The tree is actually my mother's Christmas Tree. Since my boys no longer live with me, I do not put up a tree and most likely will not do so until (if) I have grandchildren that live close enough to visit.

So, quick update on my car situation. My baby is still at the body shop. She is almost ready to go, but we are waiting on one crucial piece (that holds the front on). I got mad at Enterprise due to one of the employees basically telling me that I had to bring the car in to renew the contract, even though I had a bad migraine and had already taken medication. They did back down after I informed them that I could get a DUI for driving in that shape and could also sue them if anything happened. So, I turned the car in the next day and ended up renting a U-Haul pickup truck. I am actually loving driving this truck, but it is a little difficult to get in and out of and it eats up gas like it is free! Here is a picture of the truck and of me trying to get out of the truck. My feet do not touch the ground!

This morning as I came into work at about 6:45am, the sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. Here is a photo I took of it from the side of the police station.

And here is a photo of the moon several nights ago.

For Christmas this year, I got each of my dogs a coat. I got a pink one for Pepsi and a blue one for Moose. Well, Pepsi's came in first and, though I could get it on her, it was just a little too tight. So when Moose's came in (and it was a size larger than hers) I tried to put it on Moose and he told me in no uncertain words that he did not want to wear a coat! So, instead, I tried it on Pepsi. Not only did Pepsi love it, but it fit her very well and she has had it on ever since. Here is a picture of her sporting it at the dog park.

Speaking of the dog park, I got to hold the sweetest little puppy! She is a little chihuahua whose name I cannot remember, but she just melted my heart. She came to me and did not want to leave me until it was time to go home. I was in Heaven! Here is a picture of us cuddling.

The next three photos are pictures of Christmas decorations hanging from the light fixtures in one of my favorite restaurants, DePalma's on Gaines School Road. I will most likely use the gold one for my Happy New Year post.

The final photos here are of some roses that are at my sister's Airbnb house here in town. She is in town for the Holidays and I was surprised to see these roses out behind the house. It was dark out, so it actually gave me some really cool shots. I am calling them my Christmas Roses.

Well, I hope all of you have had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a great New Year!
